How much of the bottle of anti freeze should I put into the emptied system?

Mix it,, pour in half of it,, then add 1/2 gallon of water, then add small amounts of each until full, its not critical ,, so if you get one or more of the other, its not a big deal, once you start the motor,, leave the radiator cap off,, let it warm up, and keep looking in the cap hole, once the thermostat opens the fluid level will drop, don't over fill the system,. as long as the fins in the radiator are covered your fine,, replace the cap,, fill the over flow container to the line that marks minimum,, and your set to go
The total cooling capacity is 13.2 quarts. If you have full strength anti-freeze you should put in aprox 6.6 quarts. That will give you a 50/50 coolant to water ratio. If you have a gallon bottle it will take it all. You can always add more later, as need in the coolant reservoir.
