Having problems with your 1998 Chevrolet C/K 3500 ?

1998 chevy 3500hd, 6.5 turbo. has two new batteries and two new alternators but when hot there is an intermitant draw that dims the lights and puts a major drain on the electrical system when running. What is causing this to happen?

Some educated guesses:-
\015\012Check the operation of the radiator cooling and air conditioner condensor fans.- There may be a seized fan motor causing the current draw.
\015\012With such a major current draw I would expect a fuse to blow or circuit breaker to operate - check all fuses installed in system are of correct rating,
\015\012
\015\012Check for damaged (heat?) wiring adjacent to exhaust/turbo fittings.
