Having problems with your 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier ?

My fuel lines are rusted in one certin spot on the driver side and leaking but only in that spot looked under the car and the rest of the lines look good what can cause this

Hotrodpauly's first idea is fine providing you have the tools and the know how to flare the lines.His second idea is just dangerous.There is a reason brake lines are made of metal. you should replace the compleat brake line.
If it near a tire can be from water splashing on line if u live in the north where you get snow could be where snow or ice collected
with the age of the car your really lucky the rest of the lines aren't rusty
