Having problems with your 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo ?

My 1998 Monte Carlo Z34 is losing coolant very fast. I had the intake manifold gasket replaced last friday. It was low again on Tuesday. It doesnt completely drain it just gets low. I refilled it yesterday and this morning its low again. I cant see any visible leaks on the ground, in the oil or anything. I'm not sure where its going. Again, no fluid in the oil or transmission fluid. Loss of power before i replaced the gasket but its no longer a problem. No transmission problems. No over heating.

Answers :

Check the heate hose line running from the engine to the firewall it runs behind the passenger tire the steel lines rust out fast i found . chop out bad line get a hose and 2 hose clamps and bypass the problem.
Try replacing the radiator cap. when they get old they let coolant out before it gets hot, a new one should fix the problem.

Cheers, Timo.
