Having problems with your 1998 Chrysler Sebring ?

1998 Sebring conv 6 cyl has power problem. Starter was diagnosed at napa as fine. 3 of four gages stop working (gas gage working). Compressor on air conditioner stops coming on with all fans running. Problem started as intermitent, now is running this way. About a week ago car would not start though battery tests fine. Fuses that control ignition start and possibly the other gauges and compressor? blow. Help.

Sound like some wires are damaged either under the dash. I would trace your ignition wires and see if you find any wires rubbing against a corner...steering...tilt.. behind an upgraded stereo (you get the idea)
They could also be pinched behind the cluster gauge as well. but yes its totally some wire issues...where is the question. Hope this help you out...be careful with car's electrical as if it not done right is possible to have a fire in the car. be careful. However you dont have to worry about being shocked too much (except from spark plug wires). Hope this helps give you a lead... Trace the wires to find the damage...and when you do... get a "**** splice kit" and then wrap with electrical tape.
Good luck!
\015\012It sounds like you are having problems with your fuel pump or fuel nozzles. You should either replace the fuel pump or get your fuel nozzles cleaned. What, I usually do is buy a small bottle of mystery oil at the auto parts store. It costs around $2. I will pour the entire bottle into my gas tank and drive around. This usually cleans your fuel nozzles and cleans the gas.You might want to try this first. If, it works than I recommend you put a bottle every 3 months.
