Having problems with your 1998 Chrysler Town & Country ?

The front blower motor on my 2001 Town and Country has finally died. It is not the resistor as I have replaced it back a year ago to limp along. It is definitely the blower motor. Now, the question is, can an average Joe mechanic like me successfully get to it by removing the dash and how long should it take? The blower motor is only going to cost me $170. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks,

Here's how I fixed it:

Open the glovebox, and press the sides of it together to drop down and remove it... The blower motor is behind here...It's inside the plastic housing... Yes there is a horrible screw in the back...here's what I did:
grabbed an fin crowbar, and smashed the housing to bits, ..watch out for the wires.. now the blower motor is exposed, remove the 3 easy screws..(5/16th socket).press the side metal tab on the wire connector to remove the wire harness...
install the new blower motor from the parts store of your choice.. connect the wire, and put your glovebox back in...(squeeze the sides) .. now there was one wire and some sensor/air valve or something on the plastic housing, i just kinda shoved back up in there, ..everything works perfectly, and you can't tell the plastic was smashed...
Where I live It's very very cold , and I don't have the time or money to **** around.. I hate that they make **** so guys can't work on their own vehicles anymore.. I mean for @#%@% sake, a freakin blower motor should take 2-3 easy screws BUT NO they gotta ******** over... going back to a Jeep after this piece of ****, or an older vehicle, at least I can work on it then... good luck!
Its gonna take you hours to remove your dashboard which is probable not neccesary,. is there a way of actually removing the fan motor out off its caseing intead which ever is easier.
