93 merc villager van

\015 I got this van from a guy who was going threw a divorce, when i drive the van i have heat. when i stop at a stop sign or red light i have no heat blows cold air. it doesnt over heat. top raditor hose is hot bottom one is cold. I tryed flushing the sustem.. still no heat.. i have 2 heater cores 1 in front and 1 in back. could this be why i have no heat they both are bad. or could my raditor b stoped up. the van is in tip top shape. just no heat.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 30-11-2020

I THINK YOU HAVE A CLOGED UP RATIOR OR CLOGED UP HEATER CORES ALSO CHECK THE THERMOSTAT
You have an air pocket trapped in the cooling system. This is pretty common on this vehicle due to the fact the heater core sits higher in the vehicle than the top of the radiator.
\015\012To correct this jack the front of the vehicle up or park it on an incline. Remove radiator cap then run it until hot,run rpm up to about 1500 and watch bubbles in radiator then top it back up with coolant until u see a steady flow thru radiator.
