Having problems with your 1998 Ford Explorer ?

1998 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L W/Air

\015 My sons Ford will not start. Had it jumped and it started. Bought a new battery and installed, still won't start. Used the old battery and jumped, it started. Let it run for about 20 minutes, shut it off...it wouldn't start again. The starter is engaging and disengaging just fine and the wiring overview has been good. The alternater seems to be functioning, but when trying to start something just isn't "connecting". Any suggestions?\015\012\015\012Thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-07-2019

Answers :

Return the battery and get another, sometimes because the battery set there too long and won’t work, I had twice when I had my Union 76 Station, after you try it, if you still can not start your son’s car. Let discuss more.
