Coolant leak on top of intake manifold

\015 2002 F150 4.2\015\012The small tube behind the thermostat housing is leaking around its base. Is this tube pressed into the manifold? Is it threaded? Would it be possible to braze the joint or use an epoxy sealant to fix this leak?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 30-11-2020

Answers :

It is Threaded and you can Use Epoxy or even Gas Line Sealing Tape to seal the Pipe. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
I also had this problem and it is pressed in not treaded I tried JB weld and it didnt work I ended up replacing the intake but the intake I used to replace it with the pipe was on the front of the intake and only had 1 temp. sensors as the old one had 2 temp. sensors on the front of the intake.
