Having problems with your 1998 Ford Mustang ?

Positive battery cable(s) have turned to crud. Where does the main cable go, what does it connect to and how is it routed. Is this something I could get at an auto parts retailer or would I need to order it from a dealer?

Answers :

An autoparts store should stock a replacement cable, follow the cable back to the alternator and replace from there forward, remember to put some dielectric grease on the contacts for added life of the contacts
