Having problems with your 1998 GMC Blazer ?

A/c heater won't blow... Blower works even replaced with new blower but still won't blow... Is there a relay to replace? The fuse for a/c is good

Answers :

HTR fuse is for the blower.

\015\012Your model has a thermal switch - that prevents the blower from operating until the engine is at (about) 95 Degrees. Two possibilities here, the heat sensor and the switch connector.
\015\012
\015\0121. Remove switch connector and jump connector terminals. If blower now operates, replace switch.
\015\012If not.....
\015\012you have either a resistor failure in the resistor connector or a failed wire between the control switch and the blower....

\015\012do you need more detail?
\015\012'98 model may have a switch (3 position) for fan speed. I would suspect the switch first (after having demonstrated that the blower DC motor works).

\015\012With the switch on the "next to highest" setting, move the control from "VENT" to Heat to A/C.
\015\012
\015\012If you get ANY fan noise, the issue is with the function selector on the Environmental Control panel
\015\012
\015\012If you get NO fan noise, then the fan control switch
Did you check to see if the a/c belt is still on the a/c puller ? if so then try a flush of all hoses.
