Having problems with your 1998 Honda Accord ?
How do you replace an Accelerator Cable on a 1999 Honda Accord Ex??
Answers :
It snot the funnest job the accelerator cable is connect to the very tip top of the gas pedal and runs through the fie wall to the throttle body.
Step one disconnect it from the top of the gas pedal by using 2 10mm wrenches and youll have to be upside down for this and remove the bottom dash covers using 10mm wrenches and phillips #2 screw driver its not easy to get to I'll tell you that alot of things in the way wiring etc.
step two disconnect it from fire wall and throttlebody using 10 mm wrenches and clip remover or needle nose pliers pull from engine side carefully
and reinstall new one opposite feeding it from the engine side through the firewall
I have found it just as easy to remove the dash itself but it can be done without doing this.
