Having problems with your 1998 Honda Accord ?

My honda factory stereo says code. i disconnected the battery cable because i was trying to remove the maintenance required sign, any suggestions?

There are a few things to look for -- in the owners manual that came with the car it should have the code writen in there. if it is not there you will need to get the VIN number of the car and you might also need to pull the radio and get the ID number off the case and then go to the dealer and they will be able to get the un-lock code for you. make sure that as soon as you do have the code that you write it down on the radio case and in the manual for future reference.
