Yes but you will have to change some electroonics around. at the very least you'll need to use the obd1 components from your 92 civic on the obd2 98 block. hopefully both your car and the donor car are the same chassis model. if so, you will be able to run the 98 engine in your 92 car without any other changes. if for example your car is an ex model with a d16z6 vtec engine and the 98 is a dx with a d16y7 non-vtec engine, you would then need to get an equivalent sohc non-vtec d15b7 obd1 ecu to run the y7 properly. there's a lot of ways to make it work, it just depends on what exact engine is in the 98 and what model your 92 is. basically, i need more info lol.
