95 jeep wrangler: gauge indicates 0 oil pressure

\015 Hello, I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler SE with 2.5 liter inline 4 cylinder fuel injected engine, runs normal, cool and quiet (atleast for a jeep). The oil gauge just started reading 0, but when checked via dipstick and oil cap, the level is fine. All other gauges and levels are within normal limits as well. Not sure if this could be a oil sensor, pump or anything else. Please help!\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 27-09-2021

Answers :

Wire on oil sending unit may have fallen off or sensor itself may have gone bad. Check both. If engine has no tapping noises, likely it's not a pressure problem.
