'98 Lexus ES300 Won't Start--But Has New Battery!

\015 About a month ago, my '98 Lexus ES300 wouldn't start. I jumped it, then it worked. This happened almost everyday for 2 weeks. I finally got a new battery and cables installed. Everything was great for a week. Then today, it wouldn't start again. I tried to jump it. But this time, it won't turn at all. Any ideas?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

If your is exhibiting the same signs as a dead battery it really sounds like your alternator is bad. If you are handy, you can remove the alternator and take it to an autoparts store like autozone and they will test it for you. This is not a hard job to do, usually 2 electrical connections, 3-5 mounting bolts and you have to pop the belt off. Just reverse it to install a new one. Good luck! - Nick
