Having problems with your 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse ?

Wheel bearing removal

\015 Do i need to remove the half shaft from the knuckle/bearing/rotor assembly? and if so how? does it slide out of the splines first, then undo the 4 bearing retaining bolts? tried a hammer, puller, ect\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 24-09-2018

Answers :

First thing you have to do is remove the big nut on the driveaxle and then remove the spindle by getting the caliper and rotor out of the way and then have the bearing press off and on to the spindle
