It sounds like its either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder thats causing the problem. This is generally a sign of that system failing. There are somethings you can do though First i would bleed the clutch and see if the problem persists if it does you need to diagnose if the master cylinder is bad. \015\012Second... make sure the master cylinder has the correct amount of fluid. If it does try this, If you have a bad master cylinder then you can do the following test with the help of an assistant. Have your assistant press down on the clutch while you look to see if the transmission fluid in the reservoir rises when the clutch is down and then rises again when the clutch is released. If it does then you may have a bad master cylinder. also feel under the master cylinder to see if there is oil if there is the seals may have gone bad and the unit will need to be changed. in my experience id go with the master cylinder, but it could happen with the slave as well. Usually if you change one you change both of them.
Its better that you had this problem now then no pressure when you are driving.

Sounds like you have a leak between the master cylinder (firewall) and the slave cylinder that's on the trans and you have air in the line. Look for leaking fluid and check the reservoir and fill. One of the cylinders needs replaced most likely. The parts don't cost a lot but the shop will tack on to it. Best to do it yourself and then bleed the clutch system by opening slave after someone pushes and holds clutch pedal, close then push pedal, hold, open slave, repeat until all of the air is out. You might try just bleeding the system but eventually you will want to repair the problem.
