Having problems with your 1998 Plymouth Voyager ?

I have 1997 Plymouth Voyageur van 11800K Since last couple of months this van won't go into drive or reverse etc.. Then when it finally goes into drive and I drive a block or two then all of a sudden, it's like it is in neutral it won't accelerate while still in drive then it will kick into drive after a few seconds. Does this mean that the transmission is bad? I have tried all kind of different liquids that were recommended by different mechanics to put in to the tyranny but unfortunately, the

Answers :

It sounds luck the pump in the trans is sucking air instead of oil. Have trans serviced, oil and filter change. All those additives will only hasten its total failure.
\015\012Serviceing will dump all of it. and the proper oil will be put into it. Tell them to flush the torque converter also. Good Luck_Ned_
