Halogen bulbs contain a gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments.

  • Turn off the headlamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing bulbs. Leave the headlamp switch off until the bulb change is complete. \015\012
  • Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb. \015\012
  • Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass. \015\012
  • Do not drop or scratch the bulb. Keep moisture away. \015\012
  • Place the used bulb in the new bulb's carton and dispose of it properly. Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section. \015\012
  2. Remove or disconnect the following: \015\012
    • LH and RH engine under covers \015\012
    • RH and LH Front fender liners \015\012

  3. 2 bolts and disconnect the connectors \015\012

    1. Install or connect the following: \015\012
      • Headlamp assembly \015\012
      • 2 bolts and connector \015\012
      • Front bumper cover \015\012
      • LH and RH front fender liners \015\012
      • LH and RH engine under cover
