Having problems with your 1998 Toyota Corolla ?

How to remove the dash?

\015 Started to dismantle my head unit and surrounding elements, to find the previous owner messed up all the wiring and chopped the wires so far back I can't even get close to crimp them. I have a 97' Toyota Corolla Levin (AE110).Any suggestions other than removing the entire dash would be appreciated otherwise can someone explain the procedure involved.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 28-09-2020

Connect a Phillips head screw bit to a power drill and tighten the power\012drill's tip. Make sure that the power drill's battery is fully changed before proceeding.

Remove the screws securing the dash to the fire wall and frame with the\012power drill and bit. Once all of the screws have been removed, pull the dash\012away from the frame and the fire wall.

Locate the connectors that secure the wires to the components on the\012rear of the dash. Pull or unscrew all of the wires from the components. Pull\012the dash out of the Toyota
