Having problems with your 1998 Volvo S70 ?
P0136 hey - if I replace O2 sensor, and everything else would be ok with the entire system - the check engine light will go away by itself, or I need to reset it with some device?
Answers :
If you replace the o2 sensor and that is the problem of why the check engine light is on then yes it will reset on its own. this will take a few days of driving due to the computer running all its tests and all passing then light will shut off.
the code you have is for a bad o2 sensor or wiring to it, there are a couple of o2 sensors, this code is for the rear o2 sensor.
