I think that you first need to independently FULLY charge the battery..., then tell me what the charing rate is, how many volts, at say 2000 rpm... Need 13.8 to 14. 5 or so... How many amps can the system charge at?

\015\012disconnect the battery over night, is it still fully charged in the morning. one issue with batteries is once they fully discharge, often they never really fully recover...

\015\012After these answers, diodes in the alternator are suspect areas...and sometimes act inconsistantly, but essentially failed ones allow path to ground...do not just replace, these need to be read on a scope. or disected and individually tested.... Then a methodical test proceedure should be undertaken connecting one circuit at a time, overnight and see which one is offending..

The only thing I can tell you is, while it's doing it's 3.2 amp draw, start pulling fuses to see what circuit the draw is on and work from there.
