Having problems with your 1999 Chevrolet Blazer ?

1999 chevy blazer 4.3 liter v6. Im trying to replace the lower intake gasket but i cant get the manifold off. do you have to remove the cap and rotor.

You have to remove the distributor, fuel lines, all electrical connections. remove the bolts (carefully, so not to break them), and the intake should come off. you may have to stick a screw driver between the intake and the block but be careful not to mark up the mating surfaces.
