Having problems with your 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier ?

Codes P0440 and P0300

\015 2.2, 5spd. chuggs and misses, broke the exhaust hangers. OBD II says P0440 EVAP system fails to hold sufficient vacuum. P0300 - engine misfire detected by PCM. The EVAP System won't communicate with OBD II tests. I'm thinking the canister vent solenoid is bad, not sure though. Any thoughts?\015\012\015\012po 300 misfiring but sometimes runs fine\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 08-08-2022

I have a 2005 chevy suburban and it's getting a p0300 code. I replaced the plugs and wires and still have the same problem . It runs rough at idle in gear. What should I check?
