Having problems with your 1999 Chevrolet Malibu ?

I have a '99 malibu and the back-up/reverse lights stay on all the time, any thoughts?

Hi, it seems to me the only likely reason is a failed park/neutral switch. What I would do is pull the connector off and use an ohmmeter to check the continuity across the terminals where the pink and light green wires attach. If there is continuity in all gears, replace the switch.
