Having problems with your 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo ?

2000 Monte Carlo SS- Stalls after running 5-15 minutes

\015 Trouble Codes are P0141- o2 Sens Htr Circ Malf(Bank 1, Sens 2), P0440- Evap Emiss Cont Syst Malf, P0102- MAF Circ Low Input. The car starts and runs, but automatically stalls while driving. Cat Conv gets hot, but exhaust does not appear to be plugged. Everything I read says with these codes I should not notice any drivability issues, except decrese of power or sluggishness. I want to verify what is causing the stalling before spending money on replacement parts and still experiencing the same effect.\015\012\015\012Thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 26-10-2020

Answers :

Check the plug on the MAF.Wiggle it while its running......see if it stalls or jerks.
Or.......replace the MAF if the plug/wire connections are good to it.
The other 2 codes will not stall the engine.

Remember.....all cars run on used parts.
A good used MAF can be had a lot cheaper than new.
