Having problems with your 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

Got water in the oil but not really acting like a head gasket?

Answers :

It's most likely the intake gasket, it's a common problem and it needs to be replaced. You can buy the up graded gasket at the dealer which is the aluminum gasket's which last forever, it cost more but worth it. Note: the antifreeze is corrosive to the engine bearing so the leak needs to be repaired as soon as you can and change the oil and filter as often as you can till you fix the problem. Good luck and hope this helps.
