4pin blue modular plug under dash for brake controller to plug in

\015 I have a 2008 1500 Big Ram Quad 4X4. Under the dash is a 4 pin blue modular plug. There are 4 wires going to this. I purchased the Prodigy brake controller. I also purchased a wire harness specific for this vehicle.that should plug into this connector so that it powers my brakes for the trailer. The dealership added the 7 pin connector on the back bumper. They incorporated the 4 pin flat connector near the back bumper into this 7pin connector and ran two wires back up front. One to the 12 volt battery, and the other is a blue wire coiled up in the motor compartment that is going to be used to send power to the brakes on the trailer. The 4 pin blue modular connector under my dash as 4 wires to it. Tan or brown w/red tracer green white w/tan or brown and black. tanw/red is +12 black is - or ground white w/tan is brake signal and I'll assume the green is for the brake power back to the trailer brake pin in 7pin connector. My question is this. Where is this green wire terminated from the blue 4 pin modular connector under the dash. I know it should meet up with the blue wire the dealership added but where and how does it meet up with this. I called the dealership and they don't seem to have a clue and the wiring schematics they have showed different colors going to this 4 pin blue plug than what I have. Looking at my sticker that came with my truck the model or series is DR6H41. Don't know if this will help you at all. Thanks for any help you can give me, Danny\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 27-06-2022
