There are quite a few things that can cause your vehicle not to start. With your symptoms, I would check out the fuel pump pressure (it should be between 8 to 13 PSI), I would also check your coil (for primary and secondary resistance). When was the last complete tune-up. (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pcv valve, air and fuel filter)? If these things do check out then consider looking at the ignition control module (if you have a AUTOZONE, they will test it for free), the ignition switch, and the oil sending unit.
