The first thing I'd do is check the Tranny fluid.

If thjat does help, I'd need you to comment back with a more detailed description of the problem. Describe what it is doing, when its doing it. Confirm its an automatic. As much detail as possible.

Try the cheapest solution. Fluid and filter change. but be careful of the old shop tricks like look at what we found in your oil pan also request whiten estimates and clarify that you do not want yor vehycle taken appart for this gestimate or they will hold your vehicle hostage and tell you the free estimate does not cover reasembly of your transmission and if they replace anything ask for your old parts up front. they are more likely to actualy perform what they claim the vehycle needs.
