Having problems with your 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?

Rear Brake Lights not working, 3rd light is working

\015 I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler my brake light above the spare is working but i have no brake lights on the 2 main lights? I have changed the bulb and check the brake light switch ( i figured the switch was good due to the 3rd light working? Any assistance would be appreciated. I am still driving it hoping that having the 3rd light as a stopping signal is legal no stops yet.....\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 10-12-2018

Answers :

Check the fuse for the stoplights. Even though the 3rd one is working it should be on a different fuse. With both of them not working even after you changed the bulb it would seem to lead to a fuse.
