Having problems with your 1999 Lincoln Town Car ?

Rear end low... i've checked air bags and compresor but they are ok, no fuses blown. a friend told me i could be a height sensor.. need help

That's a very good possibility. Check the height sensor. Also check to make sure that the part where the height sensor is isn't rusted away. Question: Does the compressor run continuously? (If all else fails, install a manual switch for the air compressor and adjust your own height.)
Your friend may be correct. Generally you will find a small link arm that connects the rear axle to the sensor mounted on the body. as the distance between them changes the sensor activates the pump to adjust height. Make sure that link is connected., make sure the wires are connected. The sensor itself may also have failed...this will need to be tested.
