Having problems with your 1999 Nissan Altima ?

I am replacing the battery in my 1999 Nissan Altima. Both the local (100+ miles distant) Nissan service departments have told me there is not a security issue when replacing my dead auto battery, and that the battery will install without lights blinking and horn honking. However when I connect the ground, the horn starts honking. How can I install my new battery without the horn honking; or get the horn to quit honking. Thanks - Mike S.
