Having problems with your 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager ?

I need to now how to replace the tensioner - 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager

Its not to hard to do .Most tensioners have a slot in the front of them that you can put something into .I like to use a 3/8s short extention it fits nicely in the slot . Then put the scocket wrench on the extention with the end of the extention in the slot and push the arm with the pulley that is spring loaded towarred the center of the engine. At this point the belt will be vary loose and lifted off easly just make sure you remember how it goes back on you may want to snap a picture or two of the routeing of the belt. Then remove the bolt or bolts that hold the tensioner to the block its uasuly one bolt . Then put the new tensioner on makeing sure and guide pins on the back of it are in the the correct hole and it sits flush to the mount .Install your bolt depress the spring again towarred the engine and reroute the belt .Its a 20 minute job
