Having problems with your 1999 Plymouth Voyager ?
How can i fix my 1999 plymouth voyager if the oil light is on but it has oil in it?
Answers :
You should infact confirm it has proper oil pressure. For this you'll need to remove the oil pressure sending unit and install a gauge; start the engine and check the pressure. If you have none shut it down and repair before running. If the pressure is good (probably 50PSI or so with a cold engine) I'd replace the oil light sender unit. At times these do fail in a closed position giving you a false low oil pressure light. If the engine has very high mileage on it, it may be do to the fact of worn bearings and increased clearances, this too, with a worn pump, will lower the oil pressure
