Having problems with your 2000 Audi TT ?
The radio is safe, how to reset again - 2000 Audi TT
Our 2001 TT doesn't have a button P.SCAN, but rather SCAN. Also, it has a RDS button, but not a RBDS one. Pressing and holding the SCAN and RDS buttons together did not work. Some one else has suggested holding the FM1 and 2 buttons along with the Dolby button. This didn't work either. I have the code, but no way to enter the mode to set it, Very furstrating!!
Turn on radio - the word SAFE will appear in the display. Press th\015\012P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold them down until "1000"\015\012lights up in the display.Release buttons.Do not, under no circumtances,\015\012continue holding them down or press them once again. This will cause\015\012the radio to consider the number 1000 to be the input code.Use station\015\012buttons 1,2,3,and 4 to enter the code number on your Radio Card. Use\015\012the button 1 to enter the first number 2 for the second number 3 for\015\012the third number and 4 for the last number.Once you have entered the\015\012code and it shows on the display, press the P.SCAN and RBDS buttons down\015\012again simultaneously and hold them down until the word SAFE appears in\015\012the display.Release buttons. Soon afterwards a frequency will be\015\012displayed.
