Having problems with your 2000 Buick Regal ?

Climate control has a mind of its own

\015 The outdoor temperature sensor isn't working properly. It's over 100 degrees outside but the sensor indicates it's 32 outside so the automatic climate control turns the heater on instead of the a/c. How do I fix it or disable it so the a/c comes on...........it's like an oven in my car.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-11-2019

Answers :

I had the same problem and it was the ambient temp sensor. I replaced it and it worked fine.
Inspect the ambient temp sensor behind the front grill for rust and corrosion. This normaly creates a default within the module if the sensor is defective.
