Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Blazer ?

The starter does not spin when turning the key all lights and indicators contol panel look good, but when I go to Ignition Timing all indicators are off and the engine does not move when the key back to run the lights are normalized on the panel. Battery and starter are good. Are there any safety circuit that may be blocking me starting the engine?

You don't specify if you have the factory remote door opening feature or not...I had what I thought was a "similar" problem...funny thing was, if I lock my doors electrically from the inside, and don't click my remote twice to open the doors electrically (or if I only open the door with the key), the Ignition Interlock prevents the starter from engaging. Just saying...I though my ignition switch was FUBAR, too, only to find out I only had to click the remote ONE MORE TIME to start my vehicle...silly, huh?
Possibly an ignition switch, trace the wires off of your ignition and see where your power stop, very time consuming. Lithia Replaced my ignition switch because they thought it was causing a problem set me back $600.
