Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Blazer ?

'96 Chevy Blazer Service Engin Soon codes P0440 P0700 P1100

\015 I broke down about 2 weeks ago. When I took it in for services I was told I have 79 codes. They replaced by Ignition Switch and the fuel pump. Car is now running, however I keep getting a SES light. I clear the codes, but they keep come back. I know the P0440 is a gas cap so I replace that just in case. I even took it back to the shop and had them check the hoses around my fuel tank. I also had them remove a Auto Start system that was install on the SUV several years back, but did work. They though it might have been shorting out or getting volts from the computer.\015\012\015\012Any thoughts on what the issue might be????\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 06-07-2020

If you are throwing 79 codes it is probably a computer issue.need to clear and see what comes back up. 440 is not a leak but a malfunction check purge solenoid
