Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Express Cargo ?
I have a fuse blowing constantly on my van
\015 I have a 2000 chevy express 3500 cargo van which has an electrical problem. It was working well when I parked it. 3 days later, I tried to start it, but it only cranked but wouldn't start. I checked the fuses under the hood and ENG-1 fuse was blown. I replaced it and the van started, but only ran for 20 seconds. I replaced it again, but it blew immediately upon turning the ignition on. (didn't crank the starter). I have tried troubleshooting by placing a test light in place of the fuse, and unplugging sensors to see which one was shorted out. I have been unable to isolate this problem. Am I missing something to check for?\015\012\015\012Thanks,\015\012\015\012Kelly\015

You are on a search and destroy mission, i recommend you buy a manual with wiring diagram, at least it will tell you what is hooked on that circuit, thenits a matter of testing wiring, i suspect you have a short somewhere
