Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Impala ?

I have a 2000 Chevy impala and I am having serious issues with it starting. The battery is fine, we replaced the starter and put in a new starter relay, still not cranking. We are now leaning towards the ignition switch. The car will start fine for a few days, and then one day, it will not start. Tired of guessing and spending unnecessary money...Help!

Answers :

Does the security light in the dash blink?
Thinking it's a pass code fault(ignition switch)
There is no chip in the key,the computer looks for the proper rotation of the switch, had the same thing happen,
Should be able to start it if you crank the engine for a few seconds, release the starter and DON"T turn the key off, wait 10 minutes, crank it again, should start.
If not do the procedure again(had to do it 3 times on mine)
This is the relearn procedure that also has to be run after the switch is replaced(with a new key also)
Dear,

please get the glow plugs checked as it seems to be blown off or not working properly

thanx
