Having problems with your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

Abs on my 2000 silverado not working

\015 I blew a brake hose and when I chenged it out the fluid got too low and the abs won't work. Anybody have a easy fix?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-01-2019

Make sure you bled the brakes so no air is in the brake lines. Refill with brake fluid.Have someone pump the brakes until they get hard at turn the bleeding nut behind the wheels at the caliper.Do this until the brakes are good and you can stop fairly easy. If the ABS light is on. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery with the engine off. Leave it for a minute or 2 and then reconnect it back. I hope this helps. Good luck.
