Having problems with your 2000 Dodge Caravan ?

Water leaking into the floorboard.

\015 There is water leaking into the floorboard of the vehicle. Also, the A/C system emits vapor to the point of water actually coming from the vents. If this was the heater core would the temp. guage go up? Would the coolant level go down?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-10-2020

Answers :

Check to see if the water drain for the A/C system is plugged.
Look under the vehicle for a drain tube just ahead of the passengers feet.
Try to clear it.
Watch out for a flow of water if you do clear it!
Do not push higher into the drain than is needed to clear it.

If the heater core was leaking you would have antifreeze on the floor....not water.
Yes,the coolant would go down if the heater core was leaking.
