Having problems with your 2000 Ford Expedition ?

The lock on my front driver door will not unlock with power locks the rest the door will not even open when i attempt to open from the inside i tried unlocking it with the key but it made a sounds like parts were falling in the door now when i put the window down it makes a grinding noise. what could this b??

You will need to remove the inside door trim panel and check the three (3) rods and plastic connectors that connect:
\015\012(a) the inside door handle to the door mechanism
\015\012(b) the inside door lock knob/outside key lock cylinder to the door mechanism
\015\012(c) the outside door handle to door mechanism.
\015\012
\015\012Most likely one (or more) of these rods have either become loose or the plastic lock clips have broken.
\015\012The "L" end of the rod goes thru the hole of the clip and the clip has a pivoting "U" shape that goes over and locks onto the rod.
\015\012Based on the your year (2000) it might be a good idea to remove all clips and rods; and remove the entire door mechanism. Inspect, clean, lubricate, and re-install it.
