2 ways to figure this out. Color, and what fluids are going down that need to be occasionally topped off? Auto trans fluid is pink, as well as power steering fluid, antifreeze is green, oil is brown, brake fluid will be similar to oil, clear, no odor is water (condensation from the a/c). So, dab a white paper towel on the wet spots to see what color they are, which will narrow it down. Check all fluid levels to see what is low, you can figure this out. You can also use the odor of the fluid-antifreeze, sweet smell- water from a/c no smell, brake fluid and oil smell different, take a whiff of brake fluid at the master cylinder, and pull the oil dipstick out to smell it. Of course leaking gas would be easy to detect. Let me know what you find.
Is your car a standard transmission or automatic? Could be transmission fluid. Does it look or feel like oil?
