Having problems with your 2000 Ford Taurus ?

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus that the driver side window stopped working on. Its stuck in the down position. When I push down on the switch it sounds like the motor is working and when I hit up, the relay under the dash clicks. I have a new relay and just put in a new motor and regulator and am still getting the same problem. I'm replacing the switch and hope that works but if y'all can come up with anything else it would be greatly appreciated . ~Thanks~

Answers :

SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS MAX CURRENT DRAW BY THE MOTOR TRIPPING A CIRCUIT BREAKER . COULD BE CAUSED BY A FAULTY MOTOR ,,,,,REMOVE MOTOR FROM THE REGULATOR AND SEE IF IT WORKS BOTH DIRECTIONS IF IT DOES CHECK THE REGULATOR ALSO CHECK THE GUIDES FOR THE WINDOW MAKE SURE THEY AREN'T BINDING CAUSING EXCESSIVE CURRENT DRAW ..
