Having problems with your 2000 GMC Yukon Denali ?

My 2002 yukon will not go in reverse--

This means the reverse clutch has failed, u are going to need the trans overhauled to fix the problem and the lines and trans cooler flushed out along with the torque converter.
If you have high miles and transmission's have not been service, chances are the reverse valves might be sticking, clog up filter or faulty transmission. check fluid, look and see if it milky or burnt fluid and have plenty of fluid. if need to rebuilt, it would be cheaper to get one from a junk yard. On domestic trucks heavy pulling or load I would have the transmission fluid and filter change every 50k and normal conditions would be flush and change filter every 100k.
