Having problems with your 2000 Hyundai Accent ?

Oil Burning I have a 2001 accent that appaers to need new vavle seals @ 127K (meters) This seems a bit poor but anyway do i need to take the cam out or can i get a spring compressor below it Much thakns for your time and wisdom petros

Answers :

Remove spark plug one at a time. Install adapter to each plug hole. Connect compressed air hose. This way,the compressed air forces the valve up. when you remove valve keepers, the valve wont fall into the cylinder chamber.
You can buy a overhead cam valve spring compressor [cheap]
\015\012use compressed air I special sparkplug adaptor which will hold up the valves! [one cylinder at a time]
\015\012no need to remove the head
