Having problems with your 2000 Jaguar S-Type ?

The steering fluid is leaking from what seams to be a 1 " cylinder located on the steering pump, when under load, it is expelled under pressure so a light mist, is the cylinder a solenoid, which can be replaced if so whats the part number or will i need to change out the whole pump again if so whats the part number.

Hello
\015\012The part u are talking about is the high pressure power steering hose Assembly, this is a dealer only item and not available in the aftermarket, so I can't supply the part number, this is true of the 4.0Liter and the 3.0Liter engines, so u will need to see your local Jag dealer for the part, sorry..
The only thing I know of it could be is a filter,if so,then there is two clamps, that can be tightened up with a screw driver,or the hose replaced, this is the return side if it is a filter,so there is not a whole lot of pressure.Look to see if I am right, and tighten the clamps.
